At last, the bear emerges from hibernation to find that all is well. We live again.
For the 2nd year straight, TheHammerCast attended the Battle For Stones River in Murfreesboro on February 26th, 2011 and is proud to present this year’s edition of the show. This is the 4th year of the tourney and expectations were high. 50+ Generals converged on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in the heart of Tennessee with their 1863pt 40k armies ready to test their mettle against some of the best players in the country. 4 rounds of dizzying melees spread out over the afternoon..combined with pizza…Red Bull girls…Hooters girls…scenarios…Mike Lee interview…you get the picture! A good time was had by all and the tourney received some exciting news concerning the future and things yet to come. So sit back and enjoy the show. Watch the Flickr sideshows linked below. As always, I recommend using earphones for best quality. Feel free to contact us at TheHammerCast@comcast.net.

With the WHF rulebook now available, we took a few hours and read the book recording what we found and offered our commentary. HordeHammer? HeroHammer? GunlineHammer? None of the above? Its up to you to decide. We offer our vision of what 8th could become. The beautiful thing about it is that new strategies, combos, and army specific tactics will reveal themselves to all of us over the course of the next few months. It will be a blast to watch unfold. A major piece of the puzzle has yet to be revealed: the army specific errata to be released in PDF form shortly before the BRB is released. This will heavily influence gameplay and as such, expectations should be kept in check until you are able to read your army’s pdf.
With expediency as our goal here, this episode does not include sound effects, music beds, intros, etc. This was down and dirty-get it out to you all as fast as possible.

The mighty Eldar are showcased in this month's edition of TheHammerCast. Kevin and our guest commentator Brian, give us the skinny from the top to the bottom. All feedback is appreciated (TheHammerCast@comcast.net). Do you agree or disagree? Thanks for coming by!
This article was brought to my attention and I felt the need to share it here on the site. It essentially describes the attitude I have had for the past 4 years now, that having a good time is your own responsibility.
The next episode (which is also our first 40k episode) should be up in about a week.
At last, show #3 is finally finished! We had a great time deconstructing the Sons of Ulthuan. High Elves have such a rich tradition, we revisit some of their superstars and legendary troops. We are gearing up for The Siege 2010 coming up soon and talk about that for a bit. For best sound quality, I ALWAYS recommend listening to the show with headphones/earbuds. Many thanks to all those who have contacted us via email, your response has been gratefully received. All feedback is appreciated! TheHammerCast@comcast.net.
Russell Crichton's shambling undead hordes of the Vampire Counts pushes deep into the Lizardmen territories to be met by Kevin Drury's scaly Lizardmen minions. The clash occurred at Grand Adventures Comics in Tennessee on 3.13.2010. The battle report is in 3 video segments. Be sure to watch full screen for optimum graphics. We hope you enjoy the report!
